Terms of Stay
De juridische tekst op deze pagina is in het Engels beschikbaar. De Engelse versie is leidend en de enige juridisch bindende versie.
These terms apply to confirmed reservations at CRONOTOPE.
CRONOTOPE provides fully furnished residences for short and extended stays in Brussels. A reservation becomes binding when CRONOTOPE has confirmed the reservation in writing and any required deposit or payment has been received.
The residence
The residence, dates, number of guests, rate, included services and any specific arrangements will be stated in the reservation confirmation. Only the persons included in the reservation may reside at CRONOTOPE unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Rates
Rates and inclusions applicable to a stay will be communicated before the reservation is confirmed. Unless expressly stated otherwise, optional services provided by third parties, including laundry, dry-cleaning, food delivery, private transport and similar services, are charged separately.
Payment
The payment schedule, deposit and balance due will be communicated before confirmation. When online payments are introduced, payments may be processed by an independent external payment provider.
Extended stays · 30 to 90 nights
Extended stays of 30 to 90 nights are available by request. Utilities are included for normal residential use.
Housekeeping is included every two weeks and covers the living area, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen surfaces, floors and normal household cleaning. It does not include daily cleaning, dishwashing, personal laundry, ironing or extensive personal tidying. Additional housekeeping is available on request at extra cost.
Premium cotton bed linen is provided together with a spare set for extended stays. Guests are responsible for laundering the linen between changes. Laundry collection is available as a separately charged guest service.
For extended stays, a one-month security deposit is due fourteen days before arrival. The first month is requested at confirmation, and subsequent accommodation is requested monthly in advance.
An extension of an extended stay is granted on request and subject to availability; any extension requires confirmation of rate, payment and written confirmation by CRONOTOPE. After arrival, an extended stay may be ended with 30 days’ written notice; accommodation charges remain due through the notice period.
Domiciliation at CRONOTOPE is not permitted unless expressly agreed in writing by CRONOTOPE.
Longer stays · 91 nights or more
Stays of 91 nights or more are governed by individual terms agreed in an individual proposal covering commercial, administrative, tax and occupancy conditions. No standard rate, tax, payment or cancellation framework applies automatically to such stays.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in and check-out times will be specified in the reservation confirmation. Early arrival and late departure may be possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability.
The house and residences
Guests are expected to use the residence, furnishings, garden, hammam, piano, library and other spaces with reasonable care and consideration. Specific instructions may apply to specialist facilities and objects, including the hammam and grand piano.
Visitors
Reasonable private visitors may be permitted, subject to the character and capacity of the residence. Events, professional productions, commercial photography, receptions or gatherings involving additional guests require prior written agreement from CRONOTOPE.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the residences or indoor common areas.
Damage
Guests may be responsible for loss or damage caused intentionally, negligently or through use inconsistent with the reasonable use of the residence. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
Independent services
Services provided directly by external providers are subject to that provider’s own terms, availability and charges. Unless CRONOTOPE expressly acts as the contracting provider, the contract for such a service is between the guest and the external provider.
Privacy and quiet
CRONOTOPE is conceived as a residence rather than a programmed community. Participation in Salon, conversations, gatherings or other activities is never a condition of a stay. Guests may live and work independently and privately throughout their stay.
Applicable law
Reservations and stays are governed by Belgian law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
